OBDSTAR X300 DP Plus Add Key Renault Trafic 2017

 Does OBDSTAR X300 DP Plus do Renault trafic 2017 keyless card all keys lost situation?

 

Impossible all keys lost. Obdstar works on Megane 4, Talisman, Scenic 4 etc all keys lost, but not for Renault traffic unless you use another machine.

Renault Trafic 07.2017 ID49 4A new spare keyless card smart key is done by OBDSTAR X300 DP Plus software V31.22 via OBD.

 

Preparation:

The function requires network connection.

The green Renault gateway converter is required.

Here is an example on adding a spare key.  The customer had a working key, I made a second key only.

 

 

Procedure:

1). Read Pflash

In X300 DP plus, go to Renault/Dacia- software V32.22- Manual Select Model- Renault- Trafic- 2014 up-

Read immo information

OBDSTAR detects 2 keys exists

Read the programming prompts

Turn on emergency fash, turn off the ignition switch
Turn on ignition with a working key

Read pflash

Save flash data

Obdstar x300dp plus will ask if the current model is a post-2018 model, press Esc

2) Read Password 

communication with vehicle and loggin

turn on ignition with working key

Erase and write flash, don disconnect device from vehicle

Read 32-digit password success

 

3) Program keys

the function will erase all keys.  maximum 4 keys can be programmed.
remote is automatically generated after key programming is completed
turn ignition on
turn ignition off

enter 32-digit pin to continue
insert a working key to turn on the ignition
program 1st key success

insert a new key to be programmed and turn on the ignition
2 keys programmed

turn off the ignition switch to complete programming

2 keys have been programmed successfully

Test new keys.

 

What tools can do Renault Trafic 2014- all keys lost?

Autel IM508/IM608

Autel and Xtool is good for Renault smart card.

Review 1:

Renault Trafic 2020 all keys lost success with im608. Blade key, 10mins job with external power.
Checking (reading) flash, read pin 32 digits, programming key, all in 10min. Choose option 1 fast reading and programming. Autel 608 give 3 option.

2019 Renault Traffic 4A chip

Took about 25 minutes to read Pflash Data and extract the mega long pin code

3:

2016 Renault traffic completed. Took 3.5 hours to read p flash and then re-load for the security code. After that took 1 minute to load keys. Used an aftermarket remote. Had 2 options for pflash. I chose from vehicle. All good.

Xtool can only read PIN and add key Trafic pre-2014 only.

Code Cannibal vs OBDSTAR X300 DP Plus

 Code cannibal and obdstar x300 dp plus (key master dp plus) is based on same system but still have a few differences thou.

Similarities:

• based on same system, same immo software
• They are the first tools to do GM 2021 and ford 2021 when they came out.
• both can do 2021 chevy trucks with the new GM CAN FD adapter.
• The ford bypass cable is much better then the way autel has you do it.

 

Differences:

• Code cannibal is based off of the C configuration of keymaster dp plus/x300 dp plus
• Code cannibal comes with the bypass cables. OBDSTAR needs to be purchased separately.
• Code cannibal can't do motorcycle or powerboat immo, but obdstar can. All you do is buy the moto immo adapter set.
• The funny thing is the obdstar that I have the renewal cost $500 and the Code cannibal renewal $700.
• so your money ahead getting the obdstar. and u can always upgrade configuration A to C for $465, and then you have full diagnostic and gm bcm cloning and alot of other stuff like motorcycle immo. can't add any of that with code cannibal.

 

How to buy OBDSTAR at the lowest cost?

1) OBDSTAR X300 DP Plus full configuration $1,599 + another $400 to get all the akl cables and motorcycle and powerboat immo adapters and license, so for 2k its fully loaded.

2) Buy obdstar x300 dp plus/key master dp plus A  configuration, update to C configuration, and then get full activation and then another $400 to get all the akl cables and motorcycle adapters and license. obdii365.com provides the bundle kit less then 2k its fully loaded.

 

OBDSTAR Motor Immo kit which package to buy?

You get the motorcycle activated with the moto immo adapter set.

There are 2 different kits, the $400 one (configuration 1) has Ford and Toyota AKL and Toyota CAN cables.  As well as the motorcycle powerboat adapters and it comes with the motorcycle powerboat activation free.  The $230 one (configuration 2) only comes with motorcycle adapters and license. The $400 one is recommended.
