Read Ford TMS470 Radio Code by OBDSTAR MT200

 Here is the instruction to decode, read and change Ford TMS470 radio code using OBDSTAR MT200 radio code reader.

 

OBDSTAR MT200 is the latest handheld radio decoding tool developed which supports Ford, VW, Skoda radio types. All by OBD or BENCH, easy to operate.

MT200 Radio Coverage

Model example: Ford 6000 CD TMS470 radio

The radio brand and model can be determined by radio appearance and label

It is a Ford Visteon 6000 CD Single CD radio module.

Check wiring diagram in OBDSTAR APP

Run app, select Airbag/Dash/ECU/Radio->Radio Pinout (MT200)->Ford->Visteon 6000 CD

App also shows you the image of radio module.

Connect OBDSTAR MT200 reader with radio module

*For CANH & CANL, a 120 ohm resistor is required.

Connect MT200 to 12V power supply.

In MT200, select Function->Other Function->Radio Code V30.01->Ford->Visteoen 6000CD->TMS470->Bench

Read EEPROM 24C16 and save.

*If need to transfer eeprom dump from OBDSTAR MT200 device to PC, there is a USB cable in the package.

Select Code Read

Decode radio code successfully.

Verify radio code after reading.

Press Button 1 for the 1st digit of the pin code,
Button 2 for the 2nd and vice versa. Button 5 for confirmation.

The radio code is correct.

If need to change the radio code, select Code Change function
Input code you desired

Power off for 10s, then verify the pin radio code change was successful

Done.
