OBDSTAR VAG-Pro change Audi A3 2005 mileage

Have successfully changed km on my AUDI A3 2005 without cluster removed. I mean i adopted the easiest method- mileage adjustment via OBD.



Model: 2005 AUDI A3 RB4



I have a Vag K+CAN Commander 5.5 and it doesn't work with my Audi A3 2004
It says "Odometer changed successfully " but no change.
On Golf 5, Passat 3C i tested and it worked but with my Audi doesn't work.



It’s my first time to change odometer, and an experienced fellow said for the first time i should make the ignition on and disconnect the battery for a few seconds..

But it doesn't work.
I disconnected the battery for 10 minutes (longer to wait this time) but no change.
I removed Instrument Cluster Fuse, again NO CHANGE



Finally, solved by OBDSTAR vag-pro key programmer!

The vendor says it’s specialized for VAG group vehicles for basic diagnosis and some special functions (immo key programming, change km,SRS reset, oil reset...)

And my A3 2005 is listed.

With 6-day delivery, i finally got it for $89, from http://www.obdii365.com/
Checked each item in a good condition and used it ASAP.



It’s surprisingly easy to change km with this obdstar unit.

Connect the vag pro device to the car via OBD

Then do as the screen prompts









...

Just follow the instruction on the screen to setup mileages. It’s worth every penny, i have to say.

OBDSTAR F108+ adds old K-line Peugeot Citroen cars

Some user feedback that OBDSTAR F108 pin code tool & key programmer only supports post-2008 PSA Peugeot Citroen DS cars with CAN BUS protocol when it first rolled out in the market.

Good news!!!
OBDSTAR F108+ is the F108 upgrade with both K-line for older cars and CANBUS for newer cars.
Add some component on the main card/PCB.

OBDSTAR F100 new adds Ford cars from other regions

You have only China and U.S Ford Mazda options when OBDSTAR F100 first rolled out. OBDSTAR engineer later  tested and updated Ford cars from other regions, including EU (Europe), African Australia, Israel, India, South America and other region.

OBDSTAR X300 Pro3 replace Ford rear brake pad EPB

Two solutions here of Ford EPB replacement for all… The one is to replace Ford rear brake pad  with Obdstar x300 pro3, the other is to exchange EPB without obdii diagnostic tools.

Solution I – exchange Ford EPB with Obdstar x300 pro3 key masterObdstar x300 pro3 comes with many special functions like Immobiliser, Odometer adjustment , EEPROM/PIC, OBDII, EPB, Oil/Service reset, Battery matching. And It is verified to perform EPB function on Ford without any issue.

Solution II – replace EPB without any car diagnostic tools

Here is service mode procedure to exchange rear brake pad without diagnostic tool on Ford Fusion 2013.

NOTE: EPB service mode is also known as EPB maintenance mode.
Activation
NOTE: Carry out the following service mode activation procedure to deactivate the EPB system.
Set the ignition to ON.
Press and hold the accelerator pedal and place the EPB switch to the RELEASE (downward) position. Continue to hold the accelerator pedal and EPB.
Set the ignition to OFF then set the ignition to ON within 5 seconds. Continue to hold the accelerator pedal and the EPB switch.

NOTE 1: The EPB system will be deactivated, preventing parking brake application until service has been completed and service (maintenance) mode has been deactivated. The yellow EPB indicator will be illuminated and Maintenance Mode will display on the message center.
NOTE 2: When replacing rear brake pads in service (maintenance) mode, the brake caliper piston must be compressed into the caliper housing. The brake caliper piston does not have to be rotated while compressing the piston.
Set the ignition to OFF then release the accelerator pedal and EPB switch.

Deactivation
NOTE: Carry out the following service mode deactivation procedure to activate the EPB system.
Set the ignition to ON.
Press and hold the accelerator pedal and place the EPB switch in the APPLY (upward) position. Continue to hold the accelerator pedal and the EPB switch.
Set the ignition to OFF then set the ignition to ON within 5 seconds. Continue to hold the accelerator pedal and the EPB switch.

NOTE: The EPB system will fully apply and release the parking brake to guarantee sufficient air gap between the rear brake pads and brake disc.
Release the accelerator pedal and the EPB switch.

OBDSTAR F108 Peugeot Citroen DS Key Programmer Feedback

If you have any of PSA vehicles (Peugeot Citroen DS) after 2008 year with all CAN protocol, and you want to firstly read pin code and back to the vehicle IMMO system to program key, then OBDSTAR F108 PSA pin code reading and key programming tool is your best professional choice, an increasing users have been proving it is working fine.

FYI, OBDSTAR X300 PRO3 key master can’t perform PSA pin code reading and key making function.
Notice:
  1. Generally speaking, Peugeot Citroen DS before 08 year is not supported,F108 only supports PSA vehicles after 2008 year with all CAN protocol, while a little part of users tested ok on 04/05 year.
  2. If you have car key lost, F108 can’t read pin code but can make key.
