Recover OBDSTAR X300 DP PLUS Password

 Here’s the working solution to recover / reset forgotten password of OBDSTAR X300 DP PLUS Key programmer, so that the user can enter the home menu.

Look at the two images below showing the user forget his power-on password and can’t enter the operation menu.

OBDSTAR chief engineer replied:

We can’t see your lost password, you can renew the tablet, however, there is a risk of renewing the machine: if X300 DP PLUS has important data, it will be lost. After renewing, the tablet software will be the same as that of the new one.

 

This is the procedure to renew X300 DP PLUS:

After the tablet is turned off, copy the device program to a memory card and plug it in the tablet and turn it on again (this page will appear a lot of English words, until the English word “succeed” appears at the bottom, if not, continue to wait until the word “succeed” appears, and then shut down and take off the memory card, and then turn on the tablet.

If the English version appears when you turn on the tablet, you need to log in to the settings with your username and password after connecting to the Internet, and then go in and upgrade again.

OBDSTAR Adds Land Rover Sport 05-09 Key via OBD

Land rover 2005 to 2009 spare key can be easily done by OBDSTAR X300 Pro4 or X300 DP Plus.  Here takes an example of Land rover sport 2007 spare key programming with x300 pro 4.

Make connection

Select Immo programming – Land rover – Sport 2005-2009 – Program keys

Insert working key, switch the ignition off

Remove the current inserted key

Program success. Press Enter to program next key.

Insert new key into ignition, don’t turn on ignition

Insert the same key, switch ignition on

switch ignition off

Program success.

Program complete.

Test both keys.

 

I also did a 2006 Model Discovery 3 spare key with x300 dp plus.  After you add the key live the car idling for 6 minutes. However skp900 works better.

OBDSTAR X300 PRO4 Positive Review

 I have bought older version (black case tablet) OBDSTAR X300 Pro4, only key programming.

My experiences…not bad, no so good…still not sure about, I’m owner for a short time …but..

Opel:
Astra H 2009 Z17DTJ – can’t read PIN from ECM, from DIS display can’t, also – so I’ve read handly from DIS 93c56, but coding PCF7941 toogether with remote afternarket key 2 buttons for a second !!!

Renault:
Kangoo 2008 1.5dci – can read PIN but do not needed for coding…7946 remote 2 buttons aftermarket, immediately, like charm
Clio 1.5dci_2004_UCH 93c66_PCF7936_aftermarket key 1 button_coding in a second! Also, has a fantastic function-can solve UCH collision on one click and UCH is a live again (in case you make bad coding or similar stupidity-typically for myself

Fiat:
Stilo_1.6_16V_IAW5NF.T1_3K91D read file and PIN, usefull if you need to coding remote with MES or FES

Peugeot:
P206_1.4L_2002_Sagem 2000-2A_Siemens BSI-E0X, BSI-F0X read eeprom, PIN, programming KD NB11 key for a second!

To be honest I have AVDI, VVDI, Autel, Lonsdor, MVP, ZedFull, TDB, … and OBDSTAR 300 key master … and it works excellent key programming with Fiat, Kia, Hyundai, Ford (last update excellent, fast, great!) … so it is not perfect but not that bad for that cost …

OBDSTAR Adds Nissan Sylphy B18 2020 Proximity Bypass PIN Code

 OBDSTAR X300 DP Plus free updated 2019 up Nissan Sentra Sylphy B18 proximity add key and all keys lost function in Aug. 2021. This function requires a dedicated Nissan 16+32 bypass cable.

Unplug gateway interface
Connect the Nissan bypass cable with the unplugged gateway adapter
Go to IMMO, select Nissan Infiniti v32.19 -manual select system – 28 digits pinched – Sylphy (B18) – Proximity – 2019 up – add key (No pin)

This function requires network connection.
Executing this function will delete all keys. Only 2 new keys can be programmed each time.
Require at least one key that can start the vehicle normally

Press start button, turn on the ignition switch
Writing data
Reading data

Read 28 digit pin code success

Turn on the emergency indicator, turn off the ignition switch

Turn on the ignition switch
Long press the start button to turn off the ignition switch
Turn on the hazard warning lights
The gear position is in P gear or neutral gear
The steering column lock is in the unlocked state

Start to read the key id
Place 1st smart key to be programming horizontally above the ignition switch and put other smart keys are far away from the ignition switch
Don’t move the key on the ignition switch
Don’t press any button of the smart key

Read current key information
Place 2nd key to be programming above the ignition switch
read key information

Place 1st key above ignition switch again
Progam success

Place 2nd key above ignition switch
Program 2nd key success
2 keys has been programmed successfully

Follow procedures below to complete programming:
Turn off emergency warning lights
Press Lock and unlock buttons of each smart key one by one to verify

Check one by one whether each smart key can be put into the car to start the car
After all keys have been verified do not exit this function, remove the dedicated Nissan bypass cable and restore the gateway module.
Connect the x300 dp plus to the vehicle and turn on the ignition switch to clear the fault code.

Program success.

Done.

 How to add a spare key to an Audi q3 2013 with OBDSTAR x300 pro4 key master5. So does obdstar x300 dp plus.

Has a working key and a new key to be programmed

Select IMMO-VAG v35.06-AUDI- K-line Cluster/IMMO-AUTO Detect

Detect instrument type vdo nec+24c64 Audi q3 2013, confirm information
Select have working key
Read IMMO data

Turn on ignition with a working key
The instrument will turn black during the IMMO data reading procedure, it is normal. It will be reset after reading data success.

Read IMMO data success, the instrument was reset, save data.

Read EEPROM data
Turn on ignition switch with working key
Read data success, save EEPROM data, backup data successfully.
Read vehicle info. CS, PIN and confirm
Select Program keys in obdstar x300 pro 4

Turn on ignition switch with the new key
Prepare all keys and enter number of keys to be learned: 2

Confirm the key is a smart key or not, here we press yes

put the key 1 to be programmed close to the vehicle induction coil and press enter
follow same way to learn key 2
Learn key successfully.
Test both keys, working no issue.
