How to Import and Write GM E92 ECM with OBDSTAR DC706?

 How-to: import virgin files to OBDSTAR DC706 and write files to DC706 prior to SPS2 session.

 

1. Import files

Read the INT flash, INT eeprom and shadow flash files.

(Instruction on how to read GM ACDelco E92)

Send data to experts and get virgin files. Copy and paste files to U disk.

Connect U disk with DC706

Go to ES File Explorer->usb_stogae (external storage)
Locate and copy Chevrolet E92 eeprom, flash and shadow flash files.

Go to Internal_sd, paste 3 E92 files to /sdcard/device serial number folder/Data folder

2. Write files to DC706

Go back to the functions menu, select ECM software
Quick search Cheverlet Acdelco E92 MPC5674

Select Bench Mode with P004 adapter

Check wiring diagram

Set up bench connection among DC706, ECM, P004 and Godiag gt100 breakout box.  Need extra power supply  (14.4V approximately).

Turn on power on godiag. Turn the P004 adapter on.

Connect ECM

Write INT flash

Upload E92 virgin flash files you pasted to the DC706 folder

Write virgin INT flash successfully.

Write Virgin INT eeprom

 

3. Program ECM with SPS2.

You will need a J2534 passthru device (MDI2) and Techline Connect SPS2 subscription from acdelcotds.com.

How to Activate OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3 License?

 How much are the add-on modules of OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3?  Ecu? Airbag? Mileage? Etc?

 

The OBSDTAR G3 comes as a key tool. G3 has the ability to add the functionality of Cluster Calibration, ECU/TCU Cloning, Airbag Reset, Test Platform and the other functions.

 

How to Activate Module License to OBDSTAR G3?

 

Odometer correction software license activation $589

After activating mileage license, your G3 will perform odometer correction functions as Odomaster full.

Airbag reset software license activation $389

After activating airbag license, your G3 will perform airbag reset functions as P50.

ECU TCU Cloning Software license $1,080

After activating ECU license, your G3 will perform ECU/TCU/BCM/ECM cloning functions as DC706 full.

Test platform software license activation (MT101, MT502, MT501 series test platform functions) $550

Provide G3 series number after paying for the software license.

 

OBDSTAR DC706 Read and Write VAG Simos 18.1 ECU

 OBDSTAR DC706 ECU cloning tool will read and write VW Audi Skoda Seat Porsche CONTINENTAL Simos 18.10 ECUs. Here is the instruction to read VW Simos 18.10 ECU in boot mode.

 

You will need:
OBDSTAR DC706
MP001 programmer with jumper cables
Simos 18.10 ECU

Go to ECM, quick search Simos18.10
Select VW Continental Simos18.10 TC1791

Check the introduction and wiring diagram

Check ECU appearance, make sure it is identical to the image in DC706.

Check boot connection diagram

Disassemble the ECU shell, solder the wires as shown in image, connect 1 GND, 2 C4-01 A1, C4-01 A2, C4-01 A3, C401-A4 pins

Connect the harness according to the wiring diagram

Set up connection with DC706, MP001 and Simos 18.1 ECU

Press Start
Selct Boot mode and MP001

Connect ECM.

Read INT flash and save.

Read INT eeprom and save

Write INT Flash

Load external data

Load flash data you need to write.

Write flash successfully.

Write INT eeprom.

Load eeprom you need to write.

Write INT eeprom successfully.

Press Disconnect.

Done.

Check instructions and wiring pinout

Connect EMS3132 ECU with DC706 and P004 following the wiring diagram

Press Start, choose Bench Mode with P004

Function requires network connection. Enable network connection.
Connect server
Turn on the ignition on P004 adapter.

Press Connect and connect to ECU

Read and save EXT eeprom and EXT flash separately.

Then Write EXT eeprom

Upload eeprom saved

Write eeprom

Press IMMO OFF

Done.

Press Disconnect.

Reinstall ECU back to vehicle and test.
