Information on the new OBDSTAR CAN Direct kit Toyota immo system smart box data reading cables.
There are 2 different cables Toyota 24 and Toyota 27 cables. The Toyota 24 is for the Corolla 4A the 27 cable is for the 4A,8A-A9, 8A-AA Toyota vehicles.
The cables can be used with x300 dp plus/x300 pro4 to program Toyota 4A/8A proximity smart keys.

The ONLY difference between the two cables is that the corolla 4a has the red power wire in a different cavity them the Toyota 27 cable does.
You can take the Corolla 4a cable and add the red power wire to the connector and you will have converter the Corolla 4A cable to a Toyota 27 cable that works on all of them.
So if you bought one of those toyota bypass cables from other resources (ASK/UHS) it comes as a Corolla 4A cable, not the Toyota 27. So just add the red power wire and problem solved.

COROLLA 4A supports 4A proximity key programming.
TOYOTA-27 supports 4A, 8A-A9, 8A-AA…proximity key programming.
TOYOTA-27, replaced COROLLA 4A in CAN DIRECT KIT, is the upgraded version of COROLLA 4A.
Comparing with COROLLA 4A, TOYOTA-27 has one more power cable.(Pls refer to pics below )

1.Remove the heat shrink tube part as pic below from COROLLA 4A
2.Break the insulation of the red wire harness (power wire) and find matched DuPont line (female).
3.Connect the DuPont line (female) to the point of the red wire harness (power cable) as pic below
4.Insert the DuPont cable into the No. 4 hole as pic below and protect it with insulating tape to avoid short circuit.
