OBDSTAR DC706 Read VW Jetta MED17.5.6 CS and PIN

 An expert shared another way to get VW Jetta MED17.5.6 ECU CS and PIN Code for all keys lost without pulling the cluster.

 

Use OBDSTAR DC706 to read eeprom and flash on a 2011 VW jetta ME17.5.6 then used the immo decoder function and got the CS and pin code from the ecu. Much easier to do all keys lost this way than pulling the cluster.

DC706 read eeprom and flash, then hit immo data calculation. then it gives you CS, PIN and MAC.

Immo data decryption gives you the pin and CS.

The DC706 has the decoder function on it It also reads immo data, so you can upload that in your key programmer and make a dealer key.

This is a hell of a lot easier than pulling the cluster.

 

The key works with 00 7th byte CS, then manually programmed remote. All you have to do is put the CS and PIN and it is programmed.
The key worked perfectly.

DC706 only gives CS 6 Bytes. If 00 7th CS byte didn’t work, pull out dashboard to get full immo data (30 mins).

OBDSTAR G3 Read Ford SID208 ECU on Bench

 OBDSTAR will read and write Ford SID208 SID209 SID211 ECUs on bench without problems.

Here take OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3 as an example. G3 requires ECU/TCU/BCM flasher software activated. OBDSTAR DC706 can do this as well.

OBDSTAR iScan Ducati 2019 Panigale V4 Oil Reset

 Last year I purchased an OBDStar iScan Ducati diagnostics tablet.


This can do a variety of tasks:
  • Reset service lights for oil, annual and Desmo service
  • Read and reset error codes
  • Activate OEM accessories, such as heated grips and spotlights, on modern CANBUS bikes

I've reset both annual and Desmo service lights on my Multistrada and 2019 Panigale V4  as well as read and reset error codes when my rear wheel speed sensor threw a wobbly and lit the dash up like a Christmas tree. The dash warning went away after a few ignition cycles but I read the error code when I got home. I was cable to clear the annoying annual service form the bike's display.

I have the software revisions up until the end of May last year, as it covers my bike fully I'm not intending to upgrade this. I do have three connectors; the older 3 pin, the more common 4 pin (as shown in the video below) as well as the most recent 6 pin Euro 5. These should cover all models capable of being plugged into diagnostics.

For the price of the annual service at my dealership. I got the iscan and necessary cable for the Ducati OBD port and it accomplished what i wanted plus i can also run diagnsotscs on the bike as well as several
other functions.

When I got to the ”reset annual service “ and “reset oil service” under the special functions tab and they didn’t work I think I gave up out of frustration.
When I did reset the “annual service” under the meter tab it reset the oil service light and mileage interval on the bikes display at the same time.
