Audi Q5, A6, A8 Hybrid Battery Repair with OBDSTAR P50

 Audi Q5, A6, A8 hybrid P1609 crash shut-down problem can be solved by OBDSTAR P50.

Problems:

•     Engine don't start.

Battery Energy Control Module (Hybrid Battery Module)

Possible Causes

•     Crash Signal activated (i.e. Accident with Airbag Deployment)

Fault Code

• 14806 - Crash Shut-Down Activated
• P1609 00 [039] - -

No need to replace battery. Two solutions.

1.ODIS. 

Restart High Voltage system.  First you need to remove crash data from the airbag module and then with odis you can disable the protection in the battery.

2. with OBDSTAR P50

OBDSTAR P50 will reset and repair 8R0915591 and 8R0915223 processor on bench.

In Audi A6, A8 and 05 hybrids, the hybrid battery management unit (BMS) disconnects and logs a P1609 fault code when a crash occurs (!!! Crash shut-down activated !!!). resulting in the vehicle not starting.
At present, only a few auto electronic repair professionals through the brush firmware or open the cover through the programmer to repair  (high cost. risky. and only support some models), our company free upgrade P50 battery module repair function again. 
P50 supports the BMS crash record (P1609) repair function (on BENCH) for the 8R0915233 and 8R0915591 parts, no need to disassemble and read the chip, no n$k and difficulty, which can save a lot of maintenance costs.

OBDSTAR DC706 Adds GPEC2 GPEC3 GPEC4 in Boot

 OBDSTAR DC706 ecu flasher released an important update in May 2023- Adding GPEC2, GPEC2A, GPEC3 and GPEC4 read and write in boot mode.

No more flex, hptuner or dimsport, dc706 can do it yourself, full reading and writing.

DC706 also read 7G 8GF 9GF 10GF, GM T87, T8A and much more ECU/TCUs which were only available for Flex, B-flash etc. Now you can do it by DC706.
