OBDSTAR X300 DP Adds New Key to Geely EMGRAND8 2014

How-to: add new keys to a Geely Emgrand 8 year 2018 with OBDSTAR X300 DP/ Key master DP via OBD.



Pin code is required to program new key. The car comes with a card with IMMO security code. If you lose the card, X300 DP gives you an option to read pin code as well.



4-digit PIN code: 1606

Connect X300 DP with vehicle via OBD 

Turn on ignition switch

Select IMMOBILIZER->GEELY/HUAPU/AQYL->Select from Vehicle->Geely->EMGRAND->E820->Immobilizer->STEC Immobilizer->Set Pincode->Input Pin code















OBDSTAR X300DP asks to enter 4-digit pin code and confirm


Pin code input completed.
Select Program function->Program keys





Before program new keys must delete all keys.




Program success



Number of programmed keys: 1



If you want to program next key, insert next key and turn on ignition switch, press ENTER to continue within 5 sec. If don't, press ESC.



Test the new key

OBDSTAR X300M Change Mileage Skoda Yeti NEC+24C64 VDO-12 by OBD

New test reported: Skoda Yeti NEC+24C64 VDO-12 odometer correction is done with OBDSTAR X300M mileage programmer via OBD.

Here's the operation carried out by OBDPROG MT401 which is the same as OBDSTAR X300M (OBDPROG is a branch of OBDSTAR).  OBDSTAR 300M is better than MT401, it updates to the newest car models while OBDPROG MT401 for older car models. So what MT401 does, X300M surely will do. 

Connect X300M to vehicle via OBDII socket 

Turn on ignition, check the current mileage: 65241KM

Select by VEHICLES->Mileage Adjustment->Skoda->Skoda V31.47

Loading and authorizing

Identify instrument type, drop down menu and select Octavia->NEC+24C64 VDO-12->Mileage adjustment

Reading and backup data

OBDSTAR X300M will read current mileage. Press ENT button to confirm and continue.

X300M reads 65248 km which is a slightly different of km on dash, but it doesn't matter.

Manually enter new odometer you desire to change

Odometer correction completed.

Check the new km: 88011 km.

OBDSTAR X300 DP Serial Number Different from VCI Solution

Problem:
I had error when updating the OBDSTAR X300 DP tablet.  It gave me error "Serial number is different from VCI box", But I've checked both device and VCI serial number,they are the same.

How to reset VCI box of OBDSTAR X300 DP?
1. Turn on your tablet and click [Setting]

2. Click [Backup & reset]

3. Click [Factory data reset]

4. Power on VCI. Connect VCI and tablet by using USB.

5. Click [Setting]

6. Click [Self test] and [Communication test]

7. Please remove USB after the Bluetooth state and USB state show ok.
8. Click [one key upgrade]
