Background: A Ducati Multistrada V4S had its front and rear tires modified. Following the tire service, the vehicle's tire pressure sensors must be reprogrammed to synchronize with the vehicle. Otherwise, the dashboard and ECU will not be able to effectively monitor real-time tire pressure.
Preparation: OBDSTAR MOTOMASTER Scanner, M001A main cable, N041/M041 diagnostic cable.Solution: Using OBDSTAR MOTOMASTER to operform 'Tire pressure monitoring sensor (TPMS) presence enabling/disabling' and 'TPMS code writing' functions.
Note: After completing sensor programming, the standard tire pressure values must be set through the vehicle's dashboard.
Detail Steps:
1. Select MOTO Diag--DUCATI--Latest Version to enter Diagnosis ;
2. Click By model;
3. Select M >Multistrada V4S > 1158 >2021 model ;
4. Click Manual selection
5. Select BBS
6. Click Special Function, follow the prompts, enter the password 123, Click OK
7. ClickTire pressure monitoring sensor (TPMS) presence enabling/disabling ;
8. Click OK;
9. Click Cancel;
10. Follow the on-screen prompt to turn off the vehicle ignition. Tire pressure monitoring sensor (TPMS) presence enabling/disabling ;
11. Turn on the vehicle ignition as prompted, wait for the function execution to complete.
12. The enabling operation is completed. The status bar shows Enabled ;
13. Click Hands Free (Smart Key) System ;
14.Click Enter;
15. Click Special Function, Click Agree, enter the password 123, Click OK;
16. Click TPMS code writing function.
17. Click OK ;
18. Click Front and rear TPMS code writing ;
Note: If only programming the front or rear tire pressure sensor, choose the corresponding option.
19. Check the code on the front tire pressure sensor housing and enter it ;
20. Check the code on the rear tire pressure sensor housing and enter it ;
21. Tire pressure sensors have been matched and learned successfully.
