OBDSTAR OdoMaster or X300 Classic G3 can correct the mileage of Ford Ranger 2020- (R7F701405) and Ranger 2022- (R7F701441) instrument clusters.
Here we will show how to correct mileage for these clusters.
1. Ranger 2020- R7F701405 VDO cluster
Operation mode: OBD.
Record the original mileage, here is 127,377km.
Connect OBDSTAR with vehicle via OBD socket.
Select Ford-Ranger- Type 1 (2020 VDO R7F701405)
Turn on ignition switch.
This function requires network connection and access server.
Select mileage calibration.
OBDSTAR reads current mileage. It’s the same as displayed on the cluster.
Manual input new mileage and confirm.
Correct mileage in progress. The cluster will turn black. It’s normal.
Operation success.
Check the mileage on the cluster. Odometer correction is done successfully.
2). Ford Ranger 2022-2024 with R7F701441 virtual denso cluster:
Mode: OBD mode.
